Finland’s curriculum
Finland, one of the early partners of the CCR, is also one of the top PISA performers in its many iterations. We recommend reviewing its curriculum and the paper “The Finnish National Core Curriculum: Structure and Development,” to understand the process through which Finland’s curriculum operates.
Finland joins CCR
We are very pleased to announce that the Finnish Board of Education has joined the Center for Curriculum Redesign (CCR). In his support letter, Timo Lankinen, Director General, stated, “…what is essential in curriculum necessitates a bold reconsideration of knowledge and learning, contents, and pedagogical practices.”
